9-27-2017 You can only be insulted if you accept it. If you feel insulted by a mentally incompetent person, you have worse problems than how to deal with an insult!

It really depends on the people and situation. One size fits all isn't realistic. For me I would simply ignore him unless he was dangerous. Then I would leave or call the police. There is also Pepper spray. 😏
