Did I mess things up with a girl I like?
What did I do wrong? A few months ago I saw this girl in my high school and I wanted to talk to her but, I started getting insecure and I’ve always been socially awkward so that didn’t help. Well I finally said hello to her and introduced myself. After that we would say hi to each other in the hallway and on one occasion I asked her how her day was and on another I asked her about a problem she had in class. There was also this one time where I was walking out of class and I turned around and so did she and she just had a big smile on her face and said hi in the cutest way possible. Then on the last week before summer I wanted to ask her out but she had gotten out early (because she’s a jr) so I couldn’t. So I gave her sister (who used to talk to some of my friends) a letter to give to her. The letter had my number in it and explained how I wanted to get to know her. I also asked her out to dinner on Saturday in the letter. She never called me so I just thought I screwed things up. Maybe I rushed things? Or maybe her sister didn’t give her the letter?

Girls are freakin nuts, dude. They'll ignore you and treat you like shit then cry when you don't talk to them. They expect you to be a mind reader. Don't worry about it.

So far as I can tell, you didn't do anything wrong. She just might not be interested in you that way. I know that hurts, but please respect her decision and feelings. Take some time to be sad, if you need it.
