• It sounds like an anxiety or panic attack. They are nothing to do with actually being in a state of anxiety over something real. They are chemical imbalances, the culprit being adrenalin the old "fight and flight" hormone. Go and see your doctor to make sure it isn't anything else of a physical nature. If you are given the all clear, then you can assume it is panic attacks. If so, I used to have them and was taught an effective method to control them. I don't have them any more.
