  • It could just be that the taskbar has been minimized - If you move your mouse over the blue line does the taskbar appear? If it does, right click on it, click PROPERTIES, and untick 'auto-hide the taskbar' from the taskbar properties. If you move your mouse over the 'blue line' and an 'up/down' sizing pointer appears then click and drag the taskbar to the height you want. Then right click on it and select "Lock the taskbar". If you move the mouse over the blue line and the 'up/down' sizing pointer doesn't appear, try right clicking on the blue line and unticking "Lock the taskbar" - then try the clicking and dragging operation above. If none of these work then I'm not sure what's going on!
