G'day Teamplayer, Thank you for your question. I generally head for the mon-fiction sections although I do read the odd novel. To be more specific, history, music, popular culture and travel titles are the ones that I generally look for. However, I will be lining up for the next Harry Potter book. Regards

i go to science fiction/fantasy, then to art/crafts, then to the sale/clearance area (this is where i usually find books to try outside my general interest area), then i check out.

I like Fiction, mostly science fiction, but humorous science fiction, so I find selecting a book extremely difficult. I usually revert to classics after searching through the new books. I do on occassion glance over at the Photoshop, and other digital media help books... just a hobby.

I look at the sex manuals and look at all the impossible sex positions illustrated.

I go for the spirituality books first, especially on buddhism.

When it comes to books I always look for something specific no specific category.

Mystery/espionage/intrigue type books, modern and classical literature, and cook books.

Sociology and Current Events. It gets me everytime. I also navigate toward Local Authors before I leave as well.

its the sale rack first, then the history section, then the mystery section, then the horror section, followed by the Manga section...

I go to the new stuff and bestsellers first. See if I discover something. After that, it's just fiction in general I guess. Kind of into fantasy. Vampires, witches etc.

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I just wander. I always end up in classic literature, religion/spirituality, contemporary fiction, mystery/thrillers and sometimes even the kids section. :-)

If it's a shop that sells new books I will normally look at humour (joke books, etc) and reference books. I tend to buy my academic books online, and I get most of my fiction from charity shops, unless there's something specific I want, in which case I use the Internet again!

my intrest is drawn to books with things like dragons, wizards, vampires and many other creatures of this sort. i also enjoy books along the line of magic kingdoms and fairy tales. i like some funny books depending on what their about. a mystery book might keep my attention for a little but my all time fav will always be naruto mange.
