Addictions like that for me generally last no more than a week at a time, then I get bored with it. Maybe go back to it later. It's why I haven't managed to get a World of Warcraft character past level 50 in 3 years.

I got pretty darn hooked on Diablo II for a good long while. I hope the rumors of Blizzard releasing Diablo III hold true and they get on with it! Another that consumes a good bit of my life was the original Need For Speed on the now extinct 3DO game system. The 3DO was ahead of it's time, their version of the classic Road Rash was fantastic compared to when Playstation tried to re-release the same game years afterward and it was ridiculously slow, degraded graphics and sound and just all around lame considering they coulda/shoulda been able to improve on the desingn instead of making it worse.

Well, no. I'm trying to imagine it.

I'd have to say either Oblivion or Warcraft

The Sims (both 1&2) The Sims online. Diablo 2 & at one point WOW (world of warcraft)

Well, at one time I played an online casino game...No money involved, but it sure was addictive... :)
