  • Moderate values.
  • I am very conservative, with a libertarian bent. +5
  • I have mostly liberal principles. Of course, the only thing I really care about is civil liberties, so...
  • I am basically VERY liberal about most things .... BUT; on others ..I am VERY conserative and fixed on my opinions ... +5
  • I am very conservative
  • I'm a liberal, but that shouldn't matter. People, whatever they are, should just lighten up.....sometimes.
  • I have rather liberal values, but I also share certain values attributed to conservatives.
  • I have *my* values. I would rather stick my head into the wrong end of a woodchipper than let some binarily-polarized battle between ideologies do anything more than provide amusing fireworks.
  • The simplest way to describe my values is that I'm a mixed bag. :>
  • liberal i suppose
  • It depends on who you ask. Some people think I'm super liberal & assume I'm a democrat, but there's many things that don't fit with that which I have going on: -I am not anti-gun -I don't like big government -I don't like being over-taxed (I am probably a moderate on the tax issue) -I don't think we should have "livable communities" where Hummers wouldn't be allowed (the vehicle, you pervs!) -I take mass transit, but don't want to give up my car -I do think *some* trees need to be harvested out of our beautiful forests -I don't think existing roads to campgrounds should be closed off -I don't think we should approve every proposition on the ballet that funds schools or libraries ...
  • I have strong Libertarian tendencies.
  • liberal
  • i am pretty sure i'm conservative.
  • Humanitarian and a naturalist
  • At the risk of losing a few good...great...AB Friends....unashamedly conservative....but not unlike Beavis, I wish a Libertarian value system could be delivered. I totally dislike politicians...corrupt politicians (redundant)...telling us how to live our lives. We are not their children! Great question...+5
  • Do liberals have values? ........................ Actually, I hate the use of "values" in this way. It's an insipid PC term that sounds like something good but is ultimately meaningless. Don't talk to me about "values" - talk about RIGHT and WRONG, and be sure to keep them separate from the PROPER and the IMPROPER (e.g., saying certain "no-no words" isn't an offence against morality, but merely an offense against propriety. And when people insist on claiming that the merely improprieties is truly immoral and punishing offenders as reprobates instead of cretins, it is every man's moral duty to willfully violate that standard of propriety.) As for me, I pray on my knees and swear like a stable boy. I’m sober as a judge and drink like a fish. I love fresh air and relish strong Cuban cigars. I I’m a passionate follower of Christ – and as such labor loving and sacrificially among the poor, the dispossessed and the outcast, and I am an ardent enemy of Communism, Socialism, Fascism, the Welfare State, and all brands of collectivism – yet I’m no great believer in capitalism or individualism either. I’m an anti-imperialist who believes in a strong and rational defense. I hate militarism but love esprit-de-corps, military pomp and pageantry, martial skill, heroism in the field, and sharp looking uniforms. I work for peace and friendship between all and mock pacifism, and love nothing so much as a good knock-down-drag-out fight (I am, after all, Scotch-Irish!). I’m a Protestant evangelist and apologist married to a Thai Buddhist living in a Moslem village, teaching at a nominally Catholic school, whose best friend is a gay British Anthroposophist. I’m an ardent American patriot who believes that the best thing that could happen for his homeland now is for it to break up into at least a dozen independent states. I respect and even treasure all traditions (especially my own) and good manners - but I hate all sacred cows. I’m so innately religious/worshipful I border on the Animist, and am I natural born iconoclast. My pastime preference is for snob and elitist enjoyments, and I despise “popular amusements” from ALL pro sports to overcrowded middle-class nouveau-riche “resorts” – yet much prefer the company and friendship of the working and lower middle classes to that of high society. I'm devoutly - even dogmatically - Christian and know that all other religions are redundant where they agree with Christianity, erroneous and possibly dangerous where they disagree with it, and superfluous in all other matters - but I would expect any decent and sincere follower of another faith to have exactly the same view from his perspective – even though I know he’s mistaken. But I hate and despise secularism and, even more so, Pluralism - either the syncretistic or the Postmodern variety.
  • Conservative principles in the main with the exception of abortion which I think should be legal (though I believe the Roe v Wade judgment was indefensible as written), and I am an atheist which is more common in liberal circles than conservative ones. And probably some other stuff too that I can't think of at the moment.
  • I guess I would say I'm a conservative.
  • I have many conservative values and I am a tradionalist. However, I believe in equality and civil rights.
  • I can't be boxed in by broad terms like "conservative" or "liberal". Or for that matter, "values"! ;-)
  • Either/or, huh? I'd say neither! I think I'd say I have socialist values.
  • I'm closer to the liberal side of the scale.
  • Conservative values. :-)
  • conservative all the way.
  • I find that I am judged to be conservative when talking to someone that I consider liberal, and I'm judged to be liberal when I am talking with someone I consider conservative. I guess that makes me either unsure or a chameleon.
  • Generally I'm liberal, but on certain issues I'm conservative (such as toughening up on illegal immigration)....
  • Erm, I dont know what it is in America, im more right wing.
  • Only insane people have just one or the other. I have no neo-con values nor do I believe in killing for one's religion, but I am a mix of liberal and conservative.
  • I'm definitely mostly liberal. I don't want to say I have no part conservative because I'm sure somewhere I have some conservative values...
  • I have both values. I am conservative when it concerns kingdom values. I am liberal because I willing to hear people out.
  • A good mixture of both, but the best word to describe me is "anti-authoritarian." I absolutely hate both liberals and conservatives equally when they try to say that their views are the ONLY or the RIGHT way to look at things. That's the quickest way to turn me off.
  • Both, and libertarian as well.
  • I draw from a spectrum of values that are not exclusively liberal or conservative. I have been independent all my voting life
  • I say I am a moderate type. But I would rather say born again believer.
  • Human values
