I was raised on super mario brothers, donkey kong country, and Yoshi's island on the super nintendo. Moved on to nintendo 64 after that, and playstation, gamecube, and ps2. Finally at the xbox360, but I still love the old games I played as a small child. Quite nostalgic really. I played outside much more than I played video games though.

Yes, I think the first one I played was Pong on Atari

My brother got a Sega mega drive when I was about 12 and I got addicted to Sonic the Hedgehog and Mortal Kombat :)
-
I did, but I'm not sure they were considered vide games back then. They had a rec center in the mall where you could drive cars on a video screen, shoot guns, etc.
-
Yes, but back then they were called coloring books.

No, when I was a child we had never heard of computers or video games! there were none! Monopoly, Chinesee checkers, regular checkers, and chess were the main games played back then. When I was a child Scrabble had not been invented yet! Video meant going to a theater and watching a movie.

oh yea! my brother got the first nintendo when I was about 5(?) or so and we loved playing chip and dale (me and my sisters) not that I was really any good, and then he got the playstation which was a big deal. We wernt really aloud play that much, it was his, but he had final fantasy 7 and we became adicted to that. But it was not until I was about say 10 or 11 when I kinda understood how to play. Before all I was able to do was run around with laura croft in her house! Then the ps2 came out, and after a while, I decided to save up and get one when I was say 13. I told all my relations and they donated. Ive played a good few ps2 games, but my fav game still is final fantasy 7. me and my sis completed it a few years back, now I attempting it again. Its class! so yes I played video games as a kid, but still play them now.

Yes. My very first video game was an Odessy 2000, it had pong, tennis, and hockey. I have never stopped since.

In my childhood there weren't any video games, so I try to reimburse it now. Sometimes I play my head off! :D

I don't remember video games being around as a child....Besides...there was to much to do outside anyways.

At home we actually weren't allowed to play videogames. We didn't even get a game system until I was around sixteen or seventeen. My best friend did though, and I was addicted happily ever after
