  • Nah, i think that happens to everyone. My sister in law let her daughter fall into a huge column on our aunts porch. Child was fine, she cried a little but was okay after the initial shock. Kids are kids, not everything can be cushy and soft for them.
  • Naw! That kinda stuff happens. No worries!
  • her falling off a bed doesn't make you a bad father. kids are tough; you were being a good father by even caring that she could've been hurt.
  • a bad father for worrying about your daughter. I freaked out the first time my son got hurt..perfectly normal..you are a great father
  • Doubt it unless you caused it to happen or purposefully did something that would cause her to be injured in that way. I fell out of the top of a bunk bed when I was a teenager and it was several feet off the ground. My parents weren't to blame as I had a tendency to sleep walk and toss in bed a lot, but I never did it again either.
  • Awww honey! No you are not a bad dad. It just goes to show that you are a very caring dad. I stepped on my dog's toe earlier...Does that make me a bad owner? ;)
  • no your not a bad father if your kid gets a little banged up their kids they want to flip and jump on everything
  • Hell ya your a bad father, for not letting her jump higher that is lol just playing but seriously, you must remember what it was like when you were a kid? how many scrapes and bruises did you get? even girls like to have fun and that fun sometimes brings unwanted results, like pregnancy I kid some more, I mean bruises...
  • Nope, you are more of a concerned father.Children do fall from bed but,be careful nexttime.
  • Scrappy, kids fall out of bed all of the time. Its part of growing up. Ice it if its welts up kiss her and hug her and love her.
  • No, you were concerned, that makes you a good father. I fear you have a lot more episodes of injuries coming up. It is what kids do best. (My 3 - 3 broken arms (2 for my daughter), broken ankle and thumb (oldest son), 4 cases of stitches (youngest son 2ce oldest son 2ce) and countless other happenings)
  • No. You'll never be able to control everything that happens to your children. Accept it. Get used to it. Help them by helping them to learn and not freaking out over everything. Your daughter will make it a point to sleep further from the bed's edge in the future, regardless of what you do or don't do.
  • no, what you just complained was purely an accident. that's all. your a good father for being there for her when she did fall.
  • No it's inevitable. Children get hurt. If you stop them all the time, they don't learn, and they take fewer risks later. I work in childcare and let me tell you, it's IMPOSSIBLE to make sure a child NEVER gets hurt. You can protect them from the MAJOR things. That's what's important.
  • Your not a bad father, If you were, you wouldnt have took the time to care, so you are a good daddy to me!
  • No, accidents happen. Its scary that we can't protect our kids from everything in life that can and will happen to to them, but its a part of life. You are a good father for caring that she may have been hurt. Don't worry, and keep up the good work.
  • Oh, you can't think that about yourself! The fact you worry about her, shows you care. All children fall, and hit their heads. It happens. You can't beat yourself up about this
  • ok my son has a daughter she is 2 and she konks her head at least once a month and I know he is a wonderful dad , the good and important thing is your daughter is fine and she is lucky to have a father to love her as much as you do
  • It was an accident. Those kinds of things happen to the best of parents. A bad father? On the contrary. Being as concerned as you are shows you're a conscientious father, which is a good thing.
  • lol No you're not. Same thing happen to my best friend. Her 1 year-old daughter did the same thing, and she was fine. My friend cried about it, but we told her these things just happen sometimes.
  • Haha...i apparently did the same when i was a baby :) rolled off of the changing station or sth when my mom turned away for a second or two. I think it's common. Fret not :)
  • Realistically I'm sure you know that is not true. The bad part.
  • That's why they have soft heads. We all lived through multiple head bonks as babies and toddlers.
  • nah it happens hey. unfortunately it happens. can't control everything in this life so not point stressing bout it
  • did she bounce?
  • No, this happens loads with children, you can't always prevent everything. Sometimes accidents will happen, and you mustn't be mad at yourself for it. This is life.
  • ive done that myself, fallen and hit my head, i iced it and eventually it healed up
  • The worlds greatest father can't control gravity.
