  • Really? Sorry, but I am over 50 y.o. and never heard this one before.
  • There is no known fact for the cause of Hiccups. Although many people think its caused by bacteria in the diaphragm or bacteria on food or in water. So if carrots are giving you hiccups, maybe there is a bacteria present on your hands or on the carrots.
  • ? carrots? hiccups? thats wierd
  • I never heard that carrots give hiccups. But hiccups are the result of your diaphragm having a temper tantrum. No one knows for sure what causes them , though some think its wolfing down food, slurping carbonated beverages and guzzling alcohol.
  • They don't. You may get them from eating carrots, but it's not a common thing. If you get hiccups, try pressing one thumb into the center of the other palm, in that little hollow just off center that might be a tad tender, and hold it there.
  • not sure but thats never happened to me
  • really??? never heard of that either I eat lots of carrots and drink lots of carrot juice...never had one hiccup.
