  • False. Different kinds of glasses can make you look younger or older depending on the style.
  • A true one!
  • I don't think so. I think false.+
  • Um, I'm not really sure. Depends on what sort of glasses, shape, color, size, and such. The change the entire look. But I feel like I look artsy with mine on, but I'm fine with contacts too. It's all accessorizing like make and anything else. Although someone told me they liked my glasses on me I should have them laserly attached to my face.
  • I think it's usually false. Glasses are very chic now .. lots of great styles and colors. It used to be that glasses were considered kind of nerdy or old looking, but not anymore.
  • I think it is a false statement and if it was true all you need to do is smile and it could take those years right back off anyway!
  • False. It depends on the glasses and the person. I usually wear my contacts because I can see better with them. Occasionally, though, I wear my glasses to give my eyes a rest and have repeatedly been told I look younger in them. I think the reason is that the bottom of the frame covers the bottom of the bags under my eyes. No bags - I look younger.
  • In any case, there's no deny you look smarter.
  • sure if you get the big ole granny glasses
  • false i think if you get the right frames you could actually look better and hotter in them. Look at sarah palin...
  • True I wear glasses.
  • Some people can look really cool in glasses. THink of John Lennon. OR Steve Marriott (even though his were sunglasses)
  • I switch between my glasses and contacts. I first thought that my glasses made me look older but I found that if you pick a pair that's "fashionable", you know not the big ol'granny frames~there are so many more hot styles to pick from now days~look at some of the younger actor/actress that wear them now ...(and they aren't even prescription) just for the "look".....I say ~False~
  • No the only thing I dislike is that slide down my nose and make me look goofy then.
  • I have a daughter who is sex personified and I think the glasses accentuate it. So, my answer is no.
  • Depends on the style, shape and colour. Last time I had to get new glasses, I went straight for ones similar to those I'd been wearing for the previous 5 years or so. The optometrist told me in no uncertain terms that I was way too young to be wearing that style, as she marched me over to these itsy bitsy teeny weeny ... (not yellow polka-dotted, but you get the idea lol) I put my old ones on now and all I think is O.M.G!!!!
  • They can add years to a persons appearance but that doesn't mean they always do. It depends on the style of the glasses and how it suits the person wearing them.
  • Makes me look older as I never wore glasses until I was in my forties .I always had 20/20 until then. Perhaps I should consider the views of others on this subject
  • Glasses can be very sexy
  • I have a sixteen year old daughter who recently got her first pair of glasses, and she is required to wear them full time. Everyone -- her friends, family, and teachers -- thinks she looks stunning in them. She is the only person that hates her new look!
  • I'm 32 yrs old but people always guess me to be about 22-26 yrs old. And I do wear glasses.
  • nah I don't necessarily think so, I think the right style of glasses can look nice and contemporary and not make one look older at all...just depends on whether you choose the right style and fit for your face.
  • File this one under "someone's personal opinion or preference" and walk away from it. It's not a "True or False" question/answer sequence, it's "What do you like or dislike?" And I like glasses - but that's just my personal opinion and preference. I also wear glasses and think that I look better in glasses so I'm biased - just like the "someone" in your question is.
  • Absolutely false! Glasses are a fashion statement now. Frames come in all sorts of beautiful and unique styles.
  • I'm not sure about years, but I will say that they add seriousness. And I like them. When my partner was upset that he needed glasses (we're both in our mid-40's), I told him that I only make passes at guys who wear glasses. LOL. Scored some major boyfriend points on that one.
  • I don't think that is true. But one must have glasses that are the right ones for them.
  • False. I believe they add a look of intelligence but not age. I wear glasses and I'm told quite a bit that I look like I'm about 18 or 19 when in fact I'm 26. People are usually a little shocked when I tell them my age.
  • False. It makes me look sexy in an intellectual kinda way.
  • False. Take Clark Kent for example. He is one the most iconic glasses wearing superhero. 🦸
