It would be less than honorable for me to describe either of my Grandfathers using but one word. MATERNAL GRANDFATHER... A devoted and loving husband and family man. Father of seven, four sons and three daughters, including my Mother. A capenter and hard-working breadwinner. A fun-loving gentleman. Generous and charitable. Struck by an automobile and killed instantly. PATERNAL GRANDFATHER Having passed away during my first year of life, I never had the opportunity to know him. He, too, was said to be a devoted husband and father of seven, four daughters and three sons, including my Father. A railroad worker who lost both of his legs consequent to having them crushed uncoupling two freight cars. The late teens and early twenties male children, my Father and Uncles, took it upon themselves to support their Father and Mother, as well as their younger siblings. I apologize but, you see, I could not dishonor any member of my Family using but a single word. +5

Well, my granddad from mum's side died, may he rest in peace. :( He was a great person. And then, from my dad's side, dad's mom and dad got divorced, so I barely know my real granddad.. I only met him once. That leaves my adopted granddad, who married my dad's mom. I know him very well, and in one word, he's 'simple'. He is very open and not overly emotional, but when the need comes he's ready to help. :)
