Matching, definitely. I never had matching sheets growing up, and I feel a very silly thrill when I crawl in bed and everything matches.

I only use the fitted sheets anyway. The kids get the flat sheets for tents and picnics in the yard, stuff like that. I buy soft comfy blankets for covering.
