no one has mentioned my state of Iowa yet. But do that only if you like mile after mile after mile of cornfields, the "sweet" scent of cow and hog lots, the sight of those giantic wind turbines everywhere, freezing your ass off in the winter under 20 ft of snow and ice, boiling under the hot summer sun at 100 degrees or better. And dont forget to watch out for tornados and major flooding too. But the people of Iowa are the friendliest you'd ever meet anywhere.

I live in India and not in the US. Still I thought I might as well take the quiz. Here are the results. ' ' What State Should You Live In? You Should Live in Georgia If you don't want to live in Georgia, you might also consider: Texas Kentucky Louisiana Mississippi Missouri ' . Now that I know the states in the US where I should live in I feel somewhat more comfortable. However I have no intention of moving to the US. May be sometime I might visit The Grand Canyon as a Tourist!

Those are interesting questions to answer so they can give you primary US state then a few other states to consider living in. According to them, Georgia is calling to me! lol However, I also said I hated snow, but Michigan came up as an also to consider state. Go figure! Maybe I should just ignore the url and go with "state of grace" and leave it at that. LOL PS - hope I never wind up in a state of ignorance. That would NOT be a good thing!! :)

During my life I've lived in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia suburbs as a child through college; New York City and New Jersey during my 30-year career; North Carolina, currently having a lake-front retirement home there, as well as an ocean-front condo in Florida, from which I type this answer. For tax purposes, particularly, Florida is by far the most favorable for me, and I have made it my legal residence. There is no income tax and the property taxes are more than reasonable. I find that North Carolina and Florida are excellent places to live, especially for retirement. I, like so many others, fled the northern states due to their rediculous taxes. I don't know how working people, let alone retirees, can manage to live there! Absolutely crazy!
