I'm self employed. So although although other people may be working for my benefit, any time I take off comes at my own expense.

None. I own the place so I can take as much time off as I like, but that's expensive. Last year I took no time off and spent nearly the entire year working 6 or 7 days a week.

2 weeks. But we always get paid regardless, you can get 30 or even 60 days paid in the military. But the 60 is only when you are getting out. We only get 2 weeks for holidays though.

i get 21 days last year i had 20 days but had to take a week off, i was told it'll be unpaid, but it wasnt - a very nice surprise! might try it again this year lol

Right now, I get 3 weeks off a year. Starting in 2010, I'll get 4.....party!

I get two weeks per year. Some of the people I work with get as many as six (because of their length of service), but I will never get more than four (because of the way the contracts are written.
