Your computer almost surely doesn't support PCI-Express cards, so you'll have to stick with AGP. Just get a card that is AGP4x/8x and you should be fine. But remember, if the rest of your computer is too old, it won't do you much good to get an expensive video card. The rest of the computer will just drag it down and it will be a useless waste of money. You should aim for a used video card, since it will be hard to find a good priced, new AGP card these days. Or just upgrade your whole computer and make sure to get a motherboard that supports PCI-Express x16.
