  • Standing tall and proud is always frowned upon, by those who have the reason to do neither.
  • If you can take it, leave it
  • See... that's what I mean about people today. * If I were you... I wouldnt be friends with the kinds of people that would tell me to do anything of the kind. Sounds manipulative and opinionated to me. Two things that dont mix well, especially in friends! Do and say what you like dammit! Screw anyone that doesn't like it!
  • The people who are telling you to take it off are the ones judging you. Otherwise it wouldn't have bothered them enough to say something.
  • I could care less, sorry.
  • do as they say
  • To thy own self be true and it must follow as the night the day thou canst not then be false to any other man or not.
  • IT IS WHO U ARE. so what if u get crap bout it. its not like u friend with the ppl who give u crap about it and as long as u respect everyone elses veiws. Keep it !!! Its not you who has the problem they do.
  • dont talk to those people or anyone who will judge you.
  • You are who you are. I don't see any reason to hide it or be secretive. There are of lot of religious people who advertise it on Various social websites.
  • if people are going to judge you then you shouldent be friends with them any way.
  • do you care what others think ? the people that look down on others have their own issues and should not be judging others anyway they should take a good look at theirselves
  • Tell them to go to hell for judging you.
  • It depends if you can take being judge. Facebook is a place for you to keep in touch with your friends who probably have a hint that you are atheist. Does this really shock them? Your friends shouldn't care!
  • So you're an Atheist. Big honkin' deal! The same rules of etiquette apply to Atheists as for any one else, so bugger 'em if they don't like it. As long as your ACTIONS towards other people are polite and respectful, there is no cause for anyone to be upset. If they do get upset...it's their problem, not yours. So if all you claim is that you're an Atheist, fine. It's just a bit of personal information you wish to share with others. Now, if you should post additional material that a reasonable person might find offensive to their beliefs, then you're moving into shaky grounds.
  • I think that you should go T.P. their houses. Maybe even throw an egg or two at their cars.
  • TELL THEM THIS ON FACEBOOK== ATHEISM WAS INVENTED BY PREACHERS THAT COULD'NT SELL YOU ON THE IDEA TO COME TO A BUILDING TO LISTEN TO HIM AND GIVE TAX FREE MONEY AND ALLOW YOUR YOUNG TO BE IN THEIR SUNDAY SCHOOLS. BECAUSE GOD IS WITHIN EACH OF US AND ONE DOES'NT HAVE TO BE INSIDE TO BELIEVE IN GOD. YOU DONT NEED A ROOF TO BELIEVE.
  • keep it. i put muslim on mine. my cousin has atheist on hers. my other friend has catholic on hers. narrowminded people aren't worth your time anyways
  • If there are people who judge atheists poorly, the last thing we should do is hide the fact that we're atheists, as if it were something to be ashamed of. That would only seem to support their idea. Atheists need to openly declare that they are atheists, so that people can see that the nice person they've just met is an atheist - and that therefore atheists can be just as good as anyone else.
  • leave it on bro- u did the right thing.
  • Listen to all but do what your think right. One more thing, if anybody says something right, do accept it or get off. It would be wasting of time and brain.
  • If you are proud of your beliefs then so be it and others have NO right to make judgement on you or anyone. If it offends them then its their problem and I am not atheist but the same applies for me as well and I will not 'undo' what I believe in just because others do not like it. It is OUR perogative for what we believe in! Good luck !!
  • Yeah. Isn't that funny? If you're an atheist, you better keep it on the QT. Yet if you call christians judgmental they get all weepy eyed.
  • This floored me but atheist/agnostic is the third largest "belief system" in the U.S. coming in at 15% of the population.
  • That goes to show you the inherent, thorough and rampant hipocrisy of those who purport to live their lives according to the mandates of a holy book which tells them not to judge. Too bad they can't see what is so evident to all those that look at them
