• Is he going to cop a plea? If so, he might just get probation.
  • It could go both ways in this scenario. Coming from Active duty, military background helps you get out of A LOT of situations like this. BUT, the bad thing is he might also have his security clearance revoked, since he *may* be charged with at least one felony. And once his security clearance is revoked, they'll kick him out of the military. BUT! Being his first offense, he will *probably get let off with probation, community service, and possibly no sentence. Just be ready for the worst... I wish you both luck!
  • Unfortunately the problem is simple, lousy upbringing. Hoping to get him off easy is counterproductive - at least he'll realize that he must change - not everyone else change to favor him!
