I refer to them as Grandpa and Grandma. My own mother likes to have my offspring call her Mims.

I never knew my dads dad, but my dads mum is grandma repton. My mums mum is Grandma cornwall (to there faces they are just grandma, but these names helped when we were talking about them. My mums dad is Grandpa, or when i was little i called him poppa. (actually, come to think of it, i called my grandma 'bum' lol)

my english grandparents, gran and granpa. my cuban grandparents tita and tata, they tried teaching me to say abuelita, when i was like two or something, which is little grandma and all i said was tita then i started calling my grandfather tata.

Nanna and Grandad, but my kids have so many Nannas' they have to be each named individually.. My Mum is known as 'Bonnie Nanna' as her dog is called Bonnie. My Nanna is called 'Broken Nanna' by my youngest as she thinks she cant walk properly so therefore she is broken. We also have 'Daddy Nanna', and 'Nanna no-toys' 'Nanna yellow dress' and 'Nanna no-teeth'! And for the record my Dad is known as 'Grandad long beard'!

My father's mother died before I was born and his father remarried. I called them papy and tatie. My mother's father died before I was born. I called her mother mamie. It was in France.

on my fathers side: granny and granpa.. my mother's dad died right after i was born and my mother's mom i call gaga because when i was little i couldn't pronounce grandma so i'd follow her around going "gaga" and it stuck.

Well, I don't have any grandparents left living. :( I miss them! When they were alive, I called them Grandma and Grand-dad and Grandpa and Gran. My daughter calls her grandparents Pop-pop and Grammy and Grandfather and Mutti.

They are gone now, but my dad's parent's were Gramma and Grampa. My mom's were Mims and Papa. Don't ask me why. It's just what we called them. The first were Scots-Irish,..the other were Dutch.

My mom's parents are Mommaw and Pop. Their parents were Ma Beech, never knew her husband, and Mommaw and Poppy, respectively. My dad's parents were PawPaw and Mawmaw. Their parents were Great PawPaw, wife unknown, and Granny, husband unknown, respectively.

Mine's a little difficult, as I've never met many of my grandparents. My father's biological parents (he was orphaned at 5 yrs. old) I've always called "Grandma and Grandpa Flynn" (I don't know their first names. My father's adoptive mother is Grandma (who I knew) Adpotive father was Grandpa Carlin or Grandpa Bud (died when I was 18 mos. old.) My mother's mother is Nanny Her father (died before i was born) was Grandpa Bill Her stepfather was Pop Sheesh. Lots of explanation for a family I never knew for the most part.

Technically - deceased. On my mother's side they were "MaMaw" and "PaPaw". On my father's side, I think they were "Grandmother" and "Grandfather".

My dad's are dead. My mum's dad is dead. But I call my mum's mum "Gran" and I call her husband "Joe" - although they have been married since I was 7, he never became "granddad" or anything.

I called my mom's parents gramma and grampa; I called my dad's parents grandmother and grandad. My grandchildren called their great grandparents gramma great and grampa great. I liked that and it made them feel very special.

well, my moms parents have now passed away, but they are still referred to and nan and grandad my dads parents - nanny (and i'm 22 lol) and grandad delemere. we've always used his last name... not sure why :-S
