I prefer a man who has an "ease of being". If he likes who he is in his own skin, that's MANLY. I also like a man that is easy going. He shows respect to ALL those around him, that's MANLY too. An alfa male must master those two things, or he comes off looking/acting like a jerk.

The mature human male has no need to segregate his life into parts, chosing one time and place to be "macho" and another to show his more "feminine" qualities. The mature male does not fear the disapproval of others when he cries for sadness, joy, or pain. Neither does he seek the approval of other males by being uber macho. He behaves as is appropriate to each situation and to the emotions and thoughts he has at any particular moment. He is aware of who he is, what he can do, and where he is headed, and does not need the approval of others to validate those behaviors and thoughts.
