  • One way to do this is use Windowblinds application. Once installed you can download hundreds of "skins" to use on your computer. Windowblinds allows you to change the look of you GUI (start menu, dialog boxes, browser windows, etc) and it supports opacity/transparency settings. You can download a 30 day trial from here. http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/downloads.asp The full version is only $19.95. It's a neat app. and well worth the money
