Chicken Madras. I like hot Indian stuff as opposed to the mild Korma. But not TOO hot. Vindaloo is just ridiculous! You can't taste it because your mouth is being burnt when you try to.

Vietnamese, I grew up with it. Back in Portland, there was this great little Vietnamese place called Tann Tal's, and both my parents worked fulltime, so I ate their food alot, and grew to love it with a passion.

Cachapas, made of corn, pulverize the corn, add little sugar and milk to make like a dough then put on the pan. When ready spread butter and a good strong white cheese on top of it. Enjoy

I have too manny My mom taught me Alot of her "hunki" dishes i grew up on. here are some 1) haulshki (the real halushki with potato dumplings with fried cabbage / onions lots of butter ) Not the "fake cabbage and noodles every one else calls halushki!) 2) potato pancakes( with real shredded potatos, not the batter mix) 3) home made pirogies W/potato & cheese!) 4) something she called "MACHUNKA" a thich creamy orange otmatoy soup you eat by scooping it up with a chunk home made bread !! 5) MAN I am hungry NOW !! I could go on and on and on ( yes I should be fat,,, I love to eat !) lol

Wow! I'm surprised at how many Indian dishes are in here. My favorite is yogurt curried lamb with mango chutney, mandarines, bannanas, peanuts, and brown rice. Get out the water bowls, and leave the silver in the drawer. And if you lick your fingers, mama will wack them with a wooden spoon! (Don't lick your fingers, it's bad manners.) You also have to learn to throw the peanuts into your mouth.

We eat a variety of styles in our house, and when we go out: anglo-australian, italian, german, indonesian, chinese/vietnamese. even the odd mexican dish makes it onto the household menu sometimes. I love North Indian, but don't get much of a chance, because I am the only one who really likes it in the family.

Cajun cooking in the states along the Gulf of Mexico. If you are in Houston go to Willy G's on Old Post Road to savor the crawfish etouffee, blackened red fish, shrimp, tuna etc., steaks too. I could eat there every night but would probably explode. Good thing I live in Arizona.

This is a rediculously hard question! Right now, maybe I'll say Japanese (but if you ask tomorrow I might say Chinese, Indian, Moroccan, Jamaican or Singaporean - they're all joint faves!)
