If they are a complete stranger how would we know where to send it to... XP
-
NOPE, But I have recieved IM's From complete strangers And click on there profile to see if I do know them and there isn't One;) I just reject it;) Doe Figure;)!!
-
I used to do it all the time, but aren't future friends total strangers when you just meet them?
-
No and I never have.
-
I must not have gotten one because I don't know what an IM is. Explain please. What is an IM?
-
Oh no...but I get them all the time for some reason :P
-
I have done that a few times in the past, before I found Yahoo Answers and eventually, Answerbag. I IM'ed a woman from Indonesia, an insomniac man from the US Midwest, a French-speaking guy from Quebec, and a few others. Nothing serious about the messages anyway. For example, in the case of the French-speaking guy, I was just practicing my French.

Yes, two people. They're both guys. One guy lives in Canada and the other guy in Norfolk, Virginia. We met through Facebook, and they're both on my MSN IM contact.
-
I don't IM but sure I would..if I had access to the number it would probably mean it was some sort of expert in some area in which I had an interest. So I'd IM..'else how would I have obtained the IM number? :)
-
I haven't, but if I found their IM profile to be very interesting, I'd send them an IM with an explanation as to why I sent it and a description of myself that included our similarities. However, perhaps in that situation we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other. I've gotten them before but I've rejected them because they didn't include any info as to who they were.
-
I sent a blind IM to myself once but was to shy to answer it.
-
Yep .. it's no different to chatting with people i don't know on Ab :)
-
Have before, but I'm selective on who I talk to.
-

-
