  • way to get right to the point LOL i think i might be voting for Obama... Nader needs to show a little leg
  • NO IM NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR HIM AT ALL AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIS RACE
  • No. I am not voting for Obama because he is a Marxist Socialist. My liberal Democrat friends aren't voting for him because he is black. (true)
  • No im not voting for him cause if he becomes president the United States of America will lose alot 4 what it stands for since him and his wife are both racist pieces of garbage, not to minch the fact that almost everything he says he says he doesn't even tell the truth just read his book and then look at what he says he believes now they are totally different then what he wrote in his book. That's why im not voting for him well a few of the reasons im not his Health care bill is crap also we don't need socialist medicine we need what we have, Oh ya if that happens how many ppl will lose there job then. Im going to stop now the Last thing i have to say is VOTE McCain if we want to stay as a supper power and not a weakling
  • Are you voting for him because he is black?
  • Number ONE I dont like FOX news its Boring and i dont care how other countrys hate ours we need to think of our self first and well Obama can go suck on the end of a tail pipe for all i care NO PRESIDENTS PERFECT THE DEMOCRATS ARE THE ENEMY LOOK AT CONGRESS APPROVAL RATING THEY CANT DO S&*T RIGHT WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING THEY DO THE OPPOSITE. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR MY ANSWERS ANYMORE QUIT RESPONDING ITS AS EASY AS THAT. Sorry about the caps my button stuck and i didnt feel like re typng
  • No... Actually, he's half-white, you know. And, I'm PROBABLY not voting for him, because I'm Republican. ;-)
  • I'm actually Independent so don't vote by party. I am not voting for Obama not because he is black(half white actually), but because I don't agree with his economic and health care policies.
  • Nope, im not voting for him because i will still be 17 by election time.
  • No I am voting for an indepenent 3rd party as a protest to the current two party system. I may even write in RON PAUL on the ballot.
  • if i was american......i would vote for him coz i don't like the others and he seems the best for the country atm
  • Is he black? OMG!!!! He is!! He is!! (I'm supporting the Libertarians ;-)
  • Nope. If I'm gonna vote for or against anybody on superficial reasons, I'll probably vote for McCain/Palin...because Palin is a hottie! It doesn't get more superficial than that. :)
  • no, not in the least. i figure that i will be voting for obama in november. frankly, every politician i've met or seen on TV or read about has elements of racism, unethical behavior, lack of truthfulness, responsivity to the polls ... i think that the bottom line for me is that i suspect that obama is less crooked than any other competitor and i suspect that he, with the right cabinet, and a democratic controlled, cooperative congress, will be able to accomplish more than any alternative. i think that, financially, i'll probably be in better shape than if an alternative is elected. honestly, race plays very very little in my decision to support obama. i think the fact that he was president of the harvard law review means a lot more to me ...
  • Hilary was the only shot the democrats had to win, and she would of won
  • Give me a break. Seriously. *sigh* I would type more, but it only adds fuel. Just sick of the race/gender topic actually being a factor in a presidental race. Rather embarrasing. Is this AMERICAN HUMAN BEING the best qualified? Great. Vote them in and let them do their job. No? Then vote for another American Human Being and let them do it.
  • nope. race has nothing to do. I think the republicans have done enough damage to our country and I really think Obama will bring some good changes. i didn't say he would make this country perfect. Hell after GW, it would take a miracle for that but he will do a LOT more for the good of this country than McCain will. at least he knows how much a loaf of bread cost.. I would prefer not to have someone in office who will do more damage than GW..if that's possible
  • Nope, I am voting for Obama baby. I do not want McCain to be the president. He'll probably have a heart attack if he has to answer the phone at 3 o'clock in the morning.
  • Nope. I am not voting for him because he is a Marist. and he is very unqualified.
  • No, it's what comes out of his mouth that I don't like,I would of voted for Colin Powell if he'd ran.
  • Luck they arent making much sense are they??? how do u figure they are racist JESUS ppl are really slandering this mans name and for no reason READ UP and THEN make an educated decision anyone who votes based of race is stupid and ignorant this question and some of the answers REALLY REALLY pissed me OFF!
  • no thats not the reason. as im too young to vote, I wouldn't vote for him because of his inexperience. after he trips on his words whenever he is interviewed. McCain does the same, as any politician, but not even remotely close as Obama
  • I'm not voting for Obama because of his association with likes of terrorists like Bill Ayers, racests like Jerimiah Wright, and leftist priests that use their holy office for a political soap box. If Obama goes to the oval office their influence will go with him. The balance is much too delicate.
  • I'm not voting for McCain because he's a Fascist and a heart beat away is a frog! and she is very unqualified.
  • Race has absolutely nothing to do with why I'm voting for Obama.
  • Obama is black?
  • I'm not voting for Obama, because I don't agree with his politics...
  • Yes. I am voting against Black Jesus.
  • No ! I'm not voting for him . Not because he's black, but because he's full of sh@t and I don't agree with his politics.
  • i'm not voting for Obama because he's the anti-christ...i am only voting for McCain because he is the lesser of two evils
  • His race has nothing to do with it - I'm not voting for him because he seems to be so very attached to the word change that he can't say anything else, such as "These are my policies:..." He's all fluff, and too many Americans are too shallow to realize it.
  • No I am not voting for him but it is not because he is black.
  • Not really, but kinda. I like what he is about, especially doing away with NCLB. I also want a change and a young black man is a change from all the old white men (excluding a couple of young ones) that we have always had.
  • No. I'm not voting for Obama because his ideas sound too much like Jimmy Carter.
  • No. I am not really crazy about either of the choices, but less so about Obama...and I would feel the same if he were white, blue, green or purple. I wonder how many people will vote FOR him simply because he is....
  • No, I am not voting for him because I think he is inexperienced for the position and is just shy of being a communist.
  • So the more unqualified you are the more qualified you are?
  • Skin color (or gender for that matter) is not a consideration for me yo...
  • No, I am not voting for him because he is black.
  • I'm not voting for Obama because he's a damn liberal.
  • Nope. Because he hasn't come out with any specifics I can support. I just might write in Ron Paul like another person suggested. I don't 100% agree with any canidates.
  • If I said yes would you be happy? Is it wrong for me to think that it's time to have someone of color in office? Or a women for that matter? But to answer your question, no. I'm voting for Obama because of the issues, not because of the color of his skin.
  • Who cares what he is! His ideas suck. He can be Chineese, Muslim, Green, Yellow this is America and we do not look at that. His socialist ideas will destroy this economy by taxing you to death
  • I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't seem to think that it would be "cool" to vote for him BECAUSE he's black. He's going to have to persuade me that he's more than just another slick Chicago politician with shady friends in order to get my vote. His lack of experience and his constant gaffes certainly don't help.
  • I am voting for Obama. His race has nothing to do with my decision. His opponent believes that the economy is fundamentally sound, and that the war in Iraq was a good idea. I could not possibly vote for him based on those two issues alone.
  • No... because he is not Colin Powell.
  • My political decision making is not based on race, gender or any other appearance factor(s). I'm not voting for him because he is an inexperienced, socialist-leaning, vote-pandering, Carteresque, liberal-elitist.
  • it has noting to do with the color of his skin its the content of his caracter and tqtal lack of REALWORLD experiance
  • He is??? I hadn't noticed.
  • no i'm not voting for him because i live in England
  • I'm not going to vote for him because, as evidenced by his belief that government has an overarching role in our lives, he has never read the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, or Bill of Rights in his entire life.
  • No, I'm not voting for him because he's a left wing radical. Radicals make terrible statesmen.
  • I couldnt care less about his skin color. The man has no experience running a damn thing. He was only a senator for 4 yrs.He has never been overseas until the this election and then it was thought by some to be only photo ops.He has no foreign policy skills whatsoever. The math of his Obamanomics make no sense. He wants to "unilaterally rewrite"NAFTA making it more difficult for Canada to trade with us.There is even talk that he wants to make George Clooney an ambassador, thats right,an actor. Not to mention his socialist friends. The man has a dark past and wont let anyone dig into it.He's hiding to many things.
  • i'm not voting for him, because i don't agree with anything he stands for. i don't care if he is pink. i am a capitalist at heart. i love my religion, i love my right to defend my family with a fire arm. i love to work for what i get. i am a proud republican.
  • If I voted only based on Race, then I would use 1/2 my vote to support the fact the he is half black, and I would use 1/2 my vote to support the part of him the is half white. Resulting in a "Fair and Balanced" vote.
  • I'm not voting for him because he's a Socialist.
  • YES ,I'M VOTING FOR OBAMA, BECAUSE I'M DEMOCRAT. I'M NOT GOING TO CHANGE FROM SOMETHING I'VE BEEN ALL MY LIFE BECAUSE OF SOMEONE SKIN COLOR. I THINK PEOPLE SHOULDN'T JUDGE NO MATTER WHAT. HE JUST MAYBE THE BEST PRESIDENT EVER. SO STOP THE HATE, LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND ALLOW GOD TO BLESS AMERICA.
  • Good question! Yes, we don't need a black in the White House.
  • No, it is his socialistic platform I am against.
  • I'm dying for a chance to vote for a black President. But not this unknown, unaccomplished, unqualified, incompetent and immature radical. Someone like Clarence Thomas or Shelby Steele? In a heartbeat. I'd vote for a qualified black (I'm white) over an equally qualified white, even over a somewhat MORE qualified white, just because of all the good that could bring. But in America we follow the Parable of the Talents. "Because you have proved yourself with small things, you will be entrusted with large things." We don't coronate as kings unknowns who just happen to be the right age. We see how well they manage cities or counties, states or armies. We see if they can manage and make good decisions. We see if they can lead. We do this in every area of life. First a Piper cub, then maybe a commuter or Navy jet, finally an airliner. You don't go from college to editing the Chicago Tribune or managing the Yankees or running United States Steel. All the man knows how to do is get elected. All we know he is QUALIFIED to do is be somebody's campaign manager.
  • He has no color for me, but his views stinks like a skunk!
  • no didn't vote for him because he creeps me out
  • No it's because he is a Communist, Mafia, Racist and I can't vote for the Mafia.
  • No...I'm not voting for Obama because I disagree with his political ideology
  • no this is far from the case. i am not voteing for him because i do not belive in what he belives in. the change hes talking about will be the following: gun contral. if someone pops up in your house with a loaded gun your not going to sit there and get shot nah your going to pull out a gun and shot him sphere in the head. abortian. killing innocnt babys, if your dumb and go have sex when your threteen then you should at leat have it and give it a good home. and dont tell me their not developed i dont belive in that crap. also pulling the troops out of irac. isral needs us that is Gods chosen poeple if you havent noticed. also if we pull them out what good wil that do? nothing theyll just come over here and bome us. we dont want to talk to these poeple, weve never quite on a war before why now, because half of the usa is to lazy to get of their butt and defend the country our four fathers gave us so we could be free. next is gay marrig. that is juat sick! i dont care whos doing it or why their doing it or if their a good person. god made man and woman for a perpos and its an abomination to god if obama was a godly man he would know this. not homo can enter the very rightchouse kingdom of heaven. and saying ' why are you not voteing for obama, because hes black.' is just like saying ' why arent you voteing for maccain, because hes white?' i hate this crap were if somebody talks about obama thell jump all over you and then they talk about maccain and expacta us to sit there and take it no poeple im going to voice my opinion and live freely in a country that last time i checked was free. also i belive its eather black or white theres no grey area its earth wrong or its right.
  • No, I voted for him because of his intelligence and because I believe that he is capable of running this country.
  • Barack Obama is not Black. He is mixed race... and calling him the 1st black president is foolish... now when a true black president is elected, he wont get the recognition that he deserves!
  • No, because I am French. Also, is Obama black? "Of his early childhood, Obama recalled, "That my father looked nothing like the people around me — that he was black as pitch, my mother white as milk — barely registered in my mind."" Source and further information:
