1/ Steel Lilly. 2/ Little Caesar & The Consuls 3/The Dave Murphy Band Edit: here ya go http://www.davemurphyband.com/pages/contact/bio.html http://www.littlecaesarmusic.com/frameset.html and I'll try to dig up a Steel Lily one for you later. Edit: Failed on the Steel Lilly. Bob, try someone else my age (43)from the Toronto area, you may get a hit. Got two others for you though, The Partland Brothers and the Good Brothers. I jammed once at a local Pub with GP(Geep)( I suck, but it was the night I proposed to my now ex) and Travis Good and I chummed at school besides getting in trouble at a KD Lang and the Reclines concert, before she was just KD Lang. Don't go there, we were lucky to escape with our lives. :)

Tin Circus --Edit: Tin Circus was a local band that made one CD about 10 years ago... I don't believe they are still together, and they haven't put out any new music... however, they do perform occasional shows at a small local venue, but not very often, and I haven't had the chance to go see them. Try http://www.tincircus.com ... it's a little outdated since they haven't done anything recently, but I believe it has links to download the songs from their first (and only) CD. There is also a myspace site for them (http://www.myspace.com/tincircus) however, I'm at work, so I can't check it out, and therefore, cannot vouch for its helpfulness.

Oh, man, half the stuff I listen to, few people have heard of. Here's to being a music critic! Here's...ah...three... tt Lester (http://www.myspace.com/ttlester) A sort of blues-infused, Euro-atittude, rock & roll-is-fun-again dealio. The Kim Basinger Band (http://www.soundclick.com/thekimbasingerband) Ska...is one of those genres that people tend to love or hate. But all of the band members were classically trained, and it's evident. Vienna (http://www.myspace.com/vienna) They're no longer together, but they made some great acoustic rock. I personally love their lyrics.

Okay, here's my list of my favourite bands no one has ever heard of, I've been wanting to make it for some time, but did'nt have a context for it, thanks for asking! -Ass Ponys. (Sort of a wierd mix, like Punk Country.) -Sandman.(Odd, often depressing.) -X.(Great early 90s band starring the lyrics and vocal talents of Exene Cervenka, and the superb guitarmanship of Jon Doe.) -Harvey Danger.(College band from the mid 90s, set out only to produce covers of their favourite songs, you might have heard their hit single "Flagpole Sitta.) -Asylum Street Sngers.(They live up to the name.) -Cracker.(Good solid rock.) -King Missile. -Queen Ida And Her Zydaco Band.(alot of their music is in Jamaican Creole.) -The Blueberry Hellbellies. -Austin Lounge Lizards.(The hipper/older people here might remember them.) -The Rudy Shwartz Project.(They did this one hilarious peice of satire called "Kill For God", it's incredibly offensive, but funny as hell.) -Nicky Scopolitis.(Okay, it's not a group it's solo artist. He's Greek Pop/rock.) If you've heard of any of them, or know of any other bands like this you think I might like, please, please chime in. -

If defunct bands count, The Huntington Cads. Old-school instrumental surf from a late 90s band, doubles as lounge/chillout. Hard to find their CDs now, but so worth the effort...
