I answer question here and on several other Q & A sites, but it has nothing to do with points. While I do hope my answers will help, I don't think the point system used here is a reflection of that.

Well, points are not the raison d'etre for my being here but to answer your question, the bulk of my points have come from the answers I have given.

Mostly answering. When I come up with a question that would be kinda neat to post, I'm not usually at my computer. And since I don't write it down, by the time I get back to my computer I've forgotten it. And they are always such good questions, too, so it's a real shame! :)

As of late my point earnings are pitiful but that's not a problem as I'm not here for the points. I spend most of my time in conversations. That's what I enjoy about AB.

Yeah. Besides "flagging" questions, I wasn't aware there was any other way to earn points.

Answering , no one answers my questions , they're crap.

To earn points, I rely on both, depending on whether or not I want to know something or want to share something. Earning points, however, is not what keeps me coming back to AB.
