  • I'd Leave that person and let him or her learn his/her lesson
  • You can't. People who don't want to listen wont. You can't make or force a person to see things in a light which they don't want to. All you can do is hope the matter which they don't understand isn't an important one.
  • They are closed minded bigots. I will explain my point to them but if they refuse to listen to reason though they have been proved wrong I will just leave. You talk reason to rational human beings not stone walls.
  • I would give up. Each of us has a right to our own view of "truth". Those who still think Global Warming is a left-wing conspiracy...who wants to keep beating that dead horse? This whole thing about "right and wrong"..what difference does it make anyway? You say what you think, others say what they think and if each position is set in stone, there is no point in continuing the dialog. Happy Wednesday! :) ((hugs))
  • I think the old saying of "you can lead a horse to water, but can't make it drink" applies here. I'd just let it go and let this person simmer in their own juices of ignorance.
  • "Convince a man against his will and he's of the same opinion still" That quote always comes to my mind in similar situations. The only way I could deal with it, is to let it ride.
  • JUST ACCEPT WHAT DOES HE SAY AND WALKAWAY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR ENERGY IN VEIN , AND NOT GOING GET ANYHTING BY PROVING HIM WRONG, ALTHOUGH HE IS WRONG HE WII NOT CONFESS IT BECAUSE OF ILLUSION THAT HE IS RIGHT SO LEAVE IT.
  • hold a gun to his head and threaten to shoot him if he kips arguing.. jus playin..simply walk away
  • There's really nothing you can do but wash your hands of them and walk away. In my personal life, and as we witness here on AB all of the time, some people are really stubborn, hard-headed and close-minded. No matter what you say or do, they will never accept/believe what they choose not to. Hopefully, one day reality will bite them on the butt and they'll wake up!
  • it depends on what you are arguing about.
  • Depending on the topic, it may be truth in their eyes and you and the others are the ones that are wrong. All you can do is tell that person what you believe to be the truth and let them do with it what they will.
  • For people like this, it isn't the truth that really matters - it's that they are seen as correct no matter what. Some people just cannot admit that they're wrong, whether it's out of pride or a feeling of embarassment, etc. Naturally, we want to correct people that are wrong and get them to see our point of view or, simply, the truth. People like this will just waste your time and energy and leave you feeling frustrated and like you want to punch them in the head. It's better to walk away knowing you're right than get yourself upset.
  • Leave these kind of people on their luck (even may be your child) Fully agree with ENigma.....You talk reason to rational human beings not stone walls.
  • Let them have their beliefs, if they wish to hold false beliefs then that it their prerogative.
  • easy Sweet T I either ignore them or stop messing with them
  • This person apparently has a physcological problem. Go the other way. Avoid this person.
  • I try to not be around that sort of person or ignore them. like the new avatar by the way.:-)+
  • My sister is exactly like this. So far, the only method I've found is simply walking away from her and ignoring her continued nonsense. Of course, since I like to argue, that's easier said than done ^_^
  • just stop arguing with them, its totally pointless!
  • 7-3-2017 It is amazing how stupid someone can be when his position depends on not understanding something.
