  • Yes, no problem. Watch out for one thing though : Only plug in your GPS after you've started the car, and unplug it before your turn the car off. Two reasons : - In older cars, when starting the car, the battery sends an electrical discharge in all the electronics of the car, so you might burn the GPS. - When the car is off, there is no power generated, only battery gives you power, so your battery will run flat in no time if you put the GPS on the cigar lighter.
