Fan yes, music no. I get into music too much so it would keep me awake. I also like it VERY dark.

My husband has to have the fan on. I hate it blowing on me so I direct it toward him with a new fan that can be focused. With that said, when I go to bed without him, I now turn it on because I cannot get to sleep without the noise.

No as we get lots of fresh air, usually nice cool air flowing off the pond into our bedroom. I keep the balcony door open and the windows and it's very nice up there.

Well I live in Ireland and its pretty much always neutral weather and temp here so no fans for me. I do sleep with the radio on though I find it very hard to sleep in complete silence.

Fans are nice to have on when you go to sleep, but only in the summer for me (too cold in winter lol). There's also a dehumidifier out in the hall and I like when that cuts in cause the sound helps me go to sleep faster.

I have the ceiling fan on and a small loud portable one, even in the winter. I can't sleep without noise.

my tv and sometimes....a night light i know its ridiculous but i cant help it i just get real scared of the dark sometimes

Yup, my number one fan is always turned on when I go to sleep!!!!! hahaha, but seriously folks, I leave my TV and ceiling fan on at night!
