  • Yes, you can take a stitch ripper and pull the elastic out. Then cut the sleeve to the length you want, also to even it out..If you stll want a sleeve, I would blind sew it by hand, works best..If you want it sleeveless, cut it with an inch to spare. Cut Vs every 2 inches all around, like the oppositre of darts, thats for the , oh can't think of he word. Anyway, turn it inside out and again, stitch by hand.
  • If you want to keep the same hem in the blouse, and just remove the elastic, cut a few stitches at the seam, until you can simply reach in and pull the elastic out of the casing, and then sew up the hole. It the elastic is the sewn in kind, you have to remove all the stitches and then sew it back up after you remove the elastic.
