  • By "tryptin" do you mean amitriptylene (tryptin is the trade name)? What do you mean "where does it come from?" If you are asking about what I think you are asking about, it comes from a drug manufacturer. It was initially designed to treat depression, but doctors gradually realized it had some weird side effects and could be utilized to treat a bunch of other things, like neuropathy, IBS, and more. Laminins are a group of high molecular mass proteins found in animal cells, particularly in the cell membrane and nuclear membrane. If Amitriptyline has some sort of effect on laminins, it's not publicly known, so I don't think anyone here would be able to answer your question unless they were a very specific person at a drug company, and, even then, they'd probably be legally prohibited from saying very much.
