This isn't the worst. That's already taken (limburger), but have you ever been in an enclosed room while someone else is eating Nacho Cheese Doritos? Next time you are, close your eyes, and think of rotten toenails... It only works if you aren't eating them too.

There is a type of Provolone cheese that my father-in-law eats that smells disgusting. Kind of a mix between old socks and rotten eggs. He swears that it is the best cheese that you will ever taste, but I haven't been able to get it close enough to my face to take a bite without gagging. The deli that sells this cheese is close to my home, and my wife or I will usually pick up some cheese for him every few months. When I get it, I make them triple wrap it before I will take it into my car! My wife says that his liking for that cheese is an Italian thing, but she won't touch it herself! So much for it being an Italian thing! :-)

There is this cheese factory in Ohio Amish country where they make many cheeses, and you can sample each type. It all was good. None smelled bad.
