Sure, if it was a house I liked and in a nice location otherwise. I grew up in a rural section of New England. They were always finding hidden cemetaries. So that would have made avoiding one more difficult than normal. :o)
-
Sure! I used to live in a house next to a cemetery. It was quite peaceful :).
-
The world is a graveyard. So, yes. The Feng Shui may not be good though. I would check with a geomancer, or whatever they are called.
-
Sure. It would be peaceful and I'd know that my neighbours would keep to themselves.
-
Sure, no noisy neighbers if it was next to me. =)
-
Sure, as long as the neighbours were quiet.
-
I would have to love the house a lot to do that.
-
Yes. And although everytime I hear someone shut a car door, I'm looking out the window(old habits die hard), I'd try my best not to look out the window, to give them privacy.
-
Sure! Actually I think that would be pretty cool! ..and as everyone else said, it's better than noisy neighbors (;
-
I have... My parents built their house next to a Catholic cemetery and I lived there during high school. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is about it.
-
I live less than a block from the cemetary. Unfortunatley its got a gate around it. I'd love to be able to stroll through.
-
Sure, and actually next door is the state woods and just a ways in if you go up our creek, you eventually get to an old abandoned cemetery. It's a great place to visit and read the headstones.
-
It would be great with no noise, much better than a noisy neighorhood
-
Kind of wish my house was in the middle of a cemetary. The neighbors would be quiet, their lawns always well groomed, and you can be the jackass of the neighborhood and nobody would call the cops on you.
-
wow that would be cool - yes i would - except for the assholes that occasionally violate the deceased, it would be nice and quiet
-
Definitly. Although it would be harder on my son as you would have to be respectfull at certain times and no loud music or cussing allowed.(I mean when he is out in the yard of course)
-
Yes, I have always loved cemeteries. A major selling point for me on my first apartment was that you could see the cemetery from the living room window. Hmm...Come to think of it, if I stand out on my front deck I can see the cemetery from this house, too.
-
Yeah but it would just kill me.
-
If it was a really cheap house, then why not?
-
Sure, why not. I could get some great pictures, and maybe even some good stories!!!
-
i live next to a cemetery and its not to bad... yeah sure i dont really walk at night because i get spooked but the dead are the quiestest neighbors ull ever have
-
not if i could prevent it! =)~
-
Hell yes. I'd pay extra for that. Why you ask? Because I never saw a ghost yet and I've been looking to try.
-
there is a cemetery about 300 feet from where i live now. i often go for walks in there and see if i can find the oldest tomb stone. i have seen them as far back as 1826
-
Next to, yes. Not in one. At last, I'd have piece and quiet:)
-
I would for sure, I actually tried but an expensive suburb went up to it with a 'buffer zone' of 20 feet. But I wanted it because it would have been cheaper, quiet neighbours, and never any buildings in your way. Remember, it's not the dead ones you have to worry about.
-
Yes, one day we all will live IN a cemetery. :) Why not now?
-
Nope. Even if it's the only house on sale for the next 10 years in my city, I would much rather wait. It's just not worth it knowing that there's a cemetery by your house and being uncomfortable like that :/ Sure I have respect for the deceased and all, it's just uncomfortable.
-
Of course. At least it would be nice and peaceful and quiet! :D
-
Sure, it's the live ones I worry about.
-
I would love it, I would live right in the middle, no noisy neighbours and I love cemeteries, I think they are very peaceful places.
-
I don't know as I could do that and feel comfortable about it all the time because I personally have witnessed enough of the paranormal that some (not all) cemeteries give me a "feeling" that I shouldn't be there.
