I've never had one, but I would think so. Of course, there isn't a whole lot they can do for it other than tape it to the next toe, but I think I'd get it looked at anyway.

That's a broken toe right there (I'm assuming she banged into something and this wasn't spontaneous). I break my little toe every couple of years walking into things. There's not a lot your friend can do except ice and elevate it. Some people find taping it to the neighboring toe helps them, some don't like it. It'll hurt to walk for a couple weeks but will heal on its own. Good luck.
