  • If it's a wild rabbit, they do get some moisture from grasses and plants and the dew on plants but they do need water if it's hot and dry. If it's domestic rabbit, they shouldn't be out of water at all if they are eating pellets and hay. They can dehydrate and not be able to digest their food if they don't have access to water. It's possible for a rabbit to die with just 2 days of hot weather and not water. Always make sure they have water.
  • It depends on their access to fresh vegetables and grasses and the humidity in the air. It is entirely possible for a wild rabbit to go its entire life without drinking any water.
