I actually have both. I actually prefer my house phone. It's broadband phone service so I can call anywhere in the US and it still costs me the same amount.
-
home phone, but bring it along on a trip required 1500 miles of cable.
-
i have a cell phone and we're thinking of taking it off because no one uses it except for the people who want to sell us stuff.
-
I only have a cell phone. My fiance does as well. We do not have a landline here in the house. We have discussed it, but decided that it would just be another bill and wouldnt get much use as we arent at home very often.
-
Was paying at least $100.00 a month for a house phone. took a survey and discovered only 9 phone calls in 3 months! that was money wasted. So, i cancelled my home phone and boosted my cellphone minutes by 500 more month. so far, so good. The really big difference is a cellphone is mobile and can be taken anywhere. a home phone is just that, a phone at home, not for on the go. Its becoming the trend and AT&T hates it.
-
Just a cell phone, we had a house phone once and everyone still called our cells, so it was a waste of money.
-
I had both but if I had to choose one I'd pick the cell phone Awesome flexibilty.

-

-
House phone and I much prefer it to a cell phone.
-
Both, both and both.
-
I only have a cell phone, that's all that I need.
-
House phone. People get upset when you don't answer your cell.... They call you more, and waste your minutes leaving messages. I can have more privacy if I just have a house phone. I purposely don't reboost my minutes on my cell phone, cuz I don't like people calling wasting my minutes, or bugging me.
-
I have both...but I never use my house phone. the only people who call that is telemarketers.
-
Cell phone; it goes with me everywhere so I don't miss the important calls.
-

Cell
-
use cell more but try not to. it makes me have headaches after using it because of the radio waves or whatever rays a cellphone has
-
I have both, I have no preference.
-
I only have a house phone connection for the internet. I know nothing about cell phones. There is nobody to talk to anyway.
-
Actually, I have both. I like the flexibility that you get with a cell phone. Lately, the only people that use my home phone are telemarketers.I heard of a new plan that the cell phone companies are offering...using your cell phone as a home phone, but you don't use your cell phone minutes. I think I will check into that, it may be much cheaper.
-
I have both. I use the home phone more. It's hooked up to the internet/cable TV so doesn't cost much. $29.00 a month. Unlimited calling in USA and Canada or to any Vonage phone anywhere in the world. I only turn on my cell when I am away from home and rarely use it then, usually only for emergencies.
-
I have both. I find them both to be very useful. Cell phone's are great to have because you can take them everywhere. Home phone's are good for local calls.
-
Have house phone but need cell phone badly
-
cell phone only - gave up the house phone a few years ago - didn't need it and I really don't miss those telemarketers calling at dinner time either!!
-
Both, but I guess I'd rather have the cell phone because it's an unlisted number and there's no spam calls although companies are starting to get good at that now, I hate talking on phones because one the other end you might have a person that has one set volume tone to there voice and whisper all the way, the same way with loud people... make you want to shoot yourself. With texting, it's also differential, hardly anyone texts like I do on a phone (complete sentences and all), most of it's abbreviated and some people just aren't updated to talk like that, or know what they're talking about, and I find it extremely annoying having someone slur the english language like there's no tomorrow (Though I know my english is not perfect).
-

cell phone. I feel like for what I could pay for a house phone vs a cell phone I'd rather be mobile, plus texting works well for me as i don't like to be on the phone since i often have little or nothing to say
-
i have three cellphones.....
-
I strongly prefer cells, as they are more convenient and fun. However, I would still keep an emergency landline because ambulance services can't always home in accurately on cell phones.
