  • You should probably ask your landlady about the regulations before you decide to buy a dog. Most buildings are okay with cats and small dogs, and since you've taken to time/care to research about dogs that live well in apartments, try reasoning with her, and explain. Chances are that she'll acknowledge your responsibility and let you have a dog in the apartment. Good luck!
  • Don't get a pet before clearing it with your landlord...it would be really distressing for both you and the pet if you had to part with it.
