I am very sick, and just threw up green liquid. I haven't eaten anything green in days... Why was it green?

Bile pigment is typically green. If it isn't metabolized normally (e.g. normal digestion), it comes out of you that same color. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bile_pigments

It sounds like you vomited some bile. Have you been to a doctor for treatment?

not all things we eat are true in color. somethings are dyed with food coloring. I am no professional in this subject but not everything I eat comes out the same color as it went in. ;)

Bile, bitter alkaline fluid of a yellow, brown, or green color, secreted, in man, by the liver. Bile, or gall, is composed of water, bile acids and their salts, bile pigments, cholesterol, fatty acids, and inorganic salts. In man it is stored in the gall bladder. Try to get some broth down, bland food like toast or oatmeal, maybe some scrambled eggs. :)

It is bile, take a zantac, it will help, if your stomach, is upset from it. I know from experience.

ive had that before and this temporary condition is known as gastroenteritis which is a virus caught from others. go see your doctor for medication x

It could be meedicine you took or a foods true colours or it could be mucus in your stomach

Did you eat something blue and did you eat something yellow? That would turn green when mixed. But everybody else is probably right it's probably bile.
