i've got OCD so mine are in alphabetical order of the band/artists names, i also do it with dvds and books. it's weird i know :s lol
-
Yeah! i have even labelled them and logged them in a book, so when i lend them i know whats missing and who has them :)
-
We alphabetize our CDs and DVDs. Our books are alphabetized within their genre.
-
No not at all. they are not in any order what-so-ever.
-
Yes, I have been doing that for about 30 years. And I listen to my collection in alphabetical order.
-
All the music I normally listen to is on a computer, so I can alphabetize it very quickly if I wanted to.
-
Yes, I keep my CDs alphabetized by group or artist name and also in chronological order. If only I could channel that fixation with being that organized elsewhere : )
-
They are separated by genre and ordered by name that way. They are also all on my computer
-
My CD's I don't but my computer does it automatically... so I guess that is a 'Kinda'
-
I alphabetize the cd's I bought, but the ones I burn myself are so diverse, I wouldn't know where to begin!
-
iTunes does that for me, actually, as does my DJ software.
-
Nah. Random.

I try (CDs) but when we play a couple, sometimes they don't go back where they should. :-( (Did my albums that way, too - Kept a stack of "unsorteds" and when I cleaned up, put them where they belonged. Made it MUCH easier to find the artist I wanted!) ;-)
-
Yeah. They are alphabetized by artist, then placed in chronological order. It's pretty much the only thing about my life that IS organized. :P
-
Always and my DVD's
-
haha i wish, im lucky if all my cd's are even in the same place :):)

First by type, then by artist (composer for the classical section). I'm an ex-dj, so, I used to do it by bpm.
