Zero. Most of the movies that are nominated are lousy. Always have been. Look at some of the other questions here about all time least favorite movies. Most of the answers are award winners.

They are not important too me at all unless i am winning one of them but for now the scale from 1-10 it is a zero not as of importantiance too me.

A big fat 0 (zero). I think one of the current problems with our society is that people have become infatuated with the lives of the "stars" and have really lost touch with reality (thier own lives). I never could understand why people care so much about Britney and all those other people. I don't care what they do, what they wear, what thier kid looks like or anything else about them. What IS important to me is having a movie to watch or music to listen to... that's it.

I am very surprized that I received all those Oscars and there are certainly a lot of people that I must thank for this. I never had such a great honour and I would say, 10. By the way, why did they give it to me?

Last film I saw in the theater was Mr. 3000. Before that was The Big Lebowski. It's nice that these guys give each other awards, but I couldn't care less about them. So, would say, one (1). Makes ya wonder, too, why they have these multi-thousand dollar dresses on when you can get one just as nice off the rack at Wal-Mart for like 25 bucks or whatever.

8 for me, but 10 for my parents because they have SO many friends who are nominated. It's also really cool because they are actors and we get sent dozens of oscar movies in the mail to vote. The Oscars are like the Superbowl for us.

The Oscar awards themselves, nothing. As a former clothing designer, I do enjoy looking at the fashions. I usually check out the pictures a couple days later.

Well I watched them all the way through so that has to mean something, probably that I'm nuts..... I give it a 5 . I typically will flip back and forth to see who wins the big awards.

God, definitely a ZERO!! I was flipping through channels earlier this evening and watched an award being given out and it was something for no country for old men or something....anyhoo, these awards are crap. The same movies sweep everything. And the movies usually suck.

So far Less Than Zero it doesn't measure. I like what I like and who I like regardless of awards.

Interesting that virtually everybody so far has answered zero (or equivalent) - as would I. And yet the Oscars are clearly important to a lot of people, as is indicated by the enormous coverage they receive. So is it that people who are on AB are not interested in the things that occupy the attention of most people, or is there some other reason?

maybe 2. Just coz I do like some previous winners. If I'm selectin between 2 movies, I will be more likely to choose the oscar nominated one over the non-nominated. So not important at all, unless I'm choosing a movie.
