In my many years of life I have known a few people who have gotten married on Valentine's Day. Several of the husbands said that they would nopt be able to forget their wedding anniversary this way.

Several people, actually. It seems every year around Valentines Day, I discover another acquaintance who married that day. I have friends who married in a group ceremony at a resort on Valentines Day, too.

My parents did. And if you knew my Father you would never have guessed that he was romantic enough to think of getting married on St. Valentines Day. Maybe it was Mom? Or both? We never really know our parents, do we?

My fifth grade teacher did...but she's the only one I ever met who had their wedding on Valentine's Day!

It is interesting that finding the statistic on how many people actually get married on Valentines day is difficult to accomplish. I did find so far that approximately 6,000 marriages are performed in the United States every day, on average. But hard to find how many specifically on Valentine's day. Not that I've given up...

My stepsister did (they are now divorced, though!). It was one of those big radio promotions where they married a big group of couples on Valentine's Day at the mall or something....realy corny!

Yes, and she's so sorry she did. She hates celebrating their anniversary on that day.
