Bi-racial people are beautiful. Why isn't a child whose parents are Koran and Black called Koran-Black or Black-Korean, for instance, instead of bi-racial?

I agree that they are beautiful. But imagine how many races would be developed if we started hyphenating all of the races together! I honestly think it's just a formality to keep things simple.

I don'treally see why people have to be divided into different races to begin with. Why can't all people just be "people"? Instead of Black, White, Hispanic Latino, Asian, Middle Eastern... etc.

If I may put MY two cents in. The prefix BI-, means TWO, so BI-RACIAL means containing TWO races. That covers the whole TWO RACES gamet, meaning, if one is conceived of two DIFFERENT races--he/she is BI-RACIAL!!!!

I thought the Koran was the sacred book of Islam. I don't know who started the ridiculous notion that Islam is a race, but it isn't, it's a religion.

Bi-racial people can be beautiful, plain or ugly, just like any other ancestry. Blends of Mongoloid and Caucasoid are called Eurasian, but there is no name for African and Asian blend for some reason. Why not Afrasian?

The term is "Afro-Asian" but I doubt many people identify themselves that way. Besides, Asians run the gamut from black to white. Genetics prove that few people are as ethnically "pure" as they might otherwise think.

It's overgeneralizing to say all bi-racial people are beautiful. They run the full gamut like any other group. Phoebe Cates is beautiful, but Megan Markle isn't, for instance, and they're bi-racial.
