  • Thousands. Uncountable. I think Bahamas alone has a couple hundred islands. Maybe 700, but my memory may not be right on that. US Virgin Islands, 40, and another 60 for British Virgin Islands. Plus, if anyone does attempt to assign a quantity to your question, they'd probably be only counting the named or inhabited islands. There are many tiny uninhabited unnamed islands all over. Belize coast, Honduras coast. For the record, I've been to nearly two dozen islands, not on a cruise, but on separate 1 week trips.
