-
As often as I eat. Doesn't it prevent scurvy or gout or some other Pirate Disease?
-
Almost anytime that I eat!
-
Like all the time....food is so bland without it and you have to have it on your fish and chips :)
-
Yes. But I shouldn't cause I have high blood pressure.
-
I use zero salt on my food and cook most of my food from scratch to eliminate all salt in my diet.I have read in many reliable sources that salt is mineral and non digestible. It is bad for the health, causes high blood pressure, cuases on to retain water, and countless other serious and minor ailments. The natural amount of salts in food is enough to support the body.
-
Always and a lot of it . I know it is not good for you but I do not like food without salt.
-
I only put salt on french fries and popcorn, which I don't eat very often.
-
About once a week.
-
I put salt on my salt. Eat salt right from the shaker. I hate the winter not because of the cold, but because of the massive waste of perfectly good salt that goes on the street. Salt is mans greatest discovery.
-
We use very little salt.
-
I only put salt on my Cottage Cheese.
-
Whenever I cook I use salt. It's part of seasoning your food properly. But I never add salt to already done food. There is no need if it is well seasoned. There is a difference when you add salt during cooking than after. You don't need to add as much and it goes all through the food. I even salt a little bit at each step for some dishes.
-
Whenever I have both food and salt in the same place.
-
I don't use salt at all....but I am heavy on the pepper.
-

I always cook with salt, but I will not add it to anything after that, I can't stand the taste of salt. I have even asked McDonalds to make new fries for me and not put any salt on them. I am glad it's something that's bad for you that I don't like;~} One strange thing my parents do (Other ppl think it's strange) is they put salt on watermelon. I think it's a country thing though;~}
-
Potatoes, expecially french fries.
-
tomatoes gotta have my salt lol
-
Potatoes. Everything else I try first, and salt if needed.

-
I know I'm going to get blasted for this but...Pizza 95% of the time I have to put salt on it because around here most pizza tastes like Dookie!
-
I don't think salt is that bad for you. The research goes both ways for that. So I have always seasoned my food as it needs it, right while I am cooking. If you leave it till the end of cooking, it can't penetrate and really flavor the food and you need up using much more salt than you would if you had seasoned it as you went. There are some things that just can't be eaten without salt, though, like pea soup, it's just flat without it.
-
Mexican chips.
-
The only thing that comes to mind is eggs. Any style of eggs, but mostly boiled ones.
-
The concept of excess salt is not really true for most people. Most people can process and pass excess salt without any side effects. Some people cannot though. I maintain a low sodium diet because I a predisposed to high blood pressure, so for me there is such a thing as excess salt. So I don't add salt to anything. My wife on the other hand will drick (yse drink) shots of soy sauce. Her blood pressure is actually a bit on the low side. She adds salt to EVERYTHING!!!!!
-
I used to add salt to almost everything, expecially fries/potatoes. But, since I've gotten older and have had blood pressure issues, I don't add salt to anything. Any extra sodium always makes me retain water now. I use a lot of other seasonings, like garlic pepper. And I try to buy everything low-sodium. It's to much fun getting older! Yay!!
-
I nearly always eat my food with no/little salt, but once in awhile I get a strong craving for a fresh green apple with tons of salt on it. YUM! Especially in the summertime!
-
hard boiled eggs and potatoes with butter.
-
I dont use extra salt on anything.... but corn. Corn on the cob or canned corn, I dont know why just corn but I definitely need salt for it! I also use it in my cooking with gravy, boiling water for pasta, marinades, bbq'ing, margarita glasses etc. But on my personal plate of food, no salt.
-
Potatoes and beans while cooking..I don't put a lot so individuals can add as needed. I do not like bland food. My blood pressure is on the low side so I am not all that worried about salt, but I have cut back on it some.
-
Is popcorn a food, cuz I love it on that. I like popcorn so much I consider it a food. ha ha Other than that salt on french fries, and I like a bit one cooked chicken for some reason and of course the tomato along with fresh ground pepper.

I only use salt on my eggs, vegetables and steak. But I wanted to mention that the best thing that you can do for yourself is to switch to sea salt. You will not taste a difference and it is much better for you. Make the change - you will be glad you did!
