  • Most electric heaters are not designed to be used with an extension cord. You need to read the user manual that came with the heater.
  • Smaller diameter (higher gauge number) = higher resistance Higher resistance = more heat More heat = higher risk of burning your house down Most heaters draw QUITE the amp load, so according to Ohm's Law (I = E / R)..... it is SO obvious to me that I can't complete that thought; Centipede's Dilemma!
