  • It could quite possibly be the router. Try connecting the aerial input to a TV input (single TV) directly, ie bi-passing the boaster. Use the TV closest to the boaster. If that TV then gets a good signal it is time to buy a new boaster. If the TV does not get a good signal then it is a safe bet that the problem is with your aerial. Not knowing where you live, the type of house or the type and location of the aerial I can not tell you what is wrong.
  • Don't know for sure. You may just try bypassing the booster & see if you get better reception without it. If so I would go looking for a new booster. Plus it could be just a bad connection in your lines. Or last but not least. Check and see if someone may of stuck a pin in you cable somewhere. It has been known to happen when some crazy nuts want to play their dirty games. I had it done once over here by a kid who though he was going to blow up me Ham radio by doing so. Well he put the pin in the line. Only it was the line to my TV. Good thing my Ham rigs all have lines going under ground in pcv pipes.........Good Luck......hope you find the problem & get it fixed soon.........M.C.S.
