...how about once a week? Does that count? In all seriousness, I get plenty of fruits. The veggies are another matter entirely...
-
No I do not. :( But, my wife – who packs my lunch does! :)
-
I don't know that I consciously think - "I must eat fruit and vegetables", but I do have fruit for lunch and always have two veggies with dinner, plus a salad. I just love my veggies - especially brussel tops! MMMM. I have to say though that I am lazy with fruit. I really hate peeling stuff, so I tend to eat fruit that doesn't have to be peeled - usually I throw them in the blender and make a smoothie.

Yes. Much more so since October when my husband and I started the South Beach diet. We have collectively lost 45 lbs and more importantly, we feel so much better. Increasing fruits and vegetables and reducing carbs has made all the difference.
-
I'm eating a grape fruit right now
-
Fruits and veggies are the majority of my diet. I also get my grains and nuts.
-
Five a day in our family.
-
No I don't but I should, shouldn't I?

I used to eat at fast food restaurants eating greasy burgers and fries until I went to the Dr. and was told I had a total Cholesterol level of about 280. I was only 35 at the time and decided right then that I didn't want a heart attack. Since then it is no longer a priority but a habit to eat fruits and vegetables. I have turned into quite an organic farmer and my wife just made the last pumpkin pie for us from our crop last week. We always have fresh fruit and veggies every day and love it.
-
Yes, I do.
-
I like to eat salads every day. That contains some vegetables.
-
Yup. I like to be regular.
-
No. Beer for breakfast, whiskey for lunch, and grain alcohol for dinner.
-
My wife makes it a priority to buy alot of fruit and vegetables and then in a few days ends up throwing them away.
-
-
MisterKattWash 'em, then cut 'em up and freeze 'em. If they are still in your freezer after a year then toss 'em.
-
-
I love them both so I don't know if it's a priority or I just do because I like them.
-
I'm on Weight Watchers so I do eat many 0 point foods.
-
Not most fruits, because they are usually sweet, and I don't have a sweet tooth. I do eat a lot of vegetables and I eat a lot of tomatoes -- one fruit that isn't sweet. Tomatoes are a fruit, but in culinary terms, they are considered vegetables.
-
No, I just eat what I enjoy the most.
-
I always eat fruit and vegetables each day as I like them.😗
-
I get papaya spears delivered to me once a week. They are so cool, delish. I eat a spear a day . I eat a salad with a low fat dressing every day.
-
I do so, because I am a vegetarian
-
Nope. That's what one-a-day vitamin is for.
-
No, I don't plan to live like Tarzan. 😆
-
Veggies...yes. Veggies and whole grains make up (by far) the greatest part of my diet. Fruit...not so much.
-
I don't eat nearly as much as I should, and my health has taken a hit because of it. For those who mentioned cholesterol issues, what fruits and vegetables do for cholesterol might surprise you. It's not the foods themselves, but the fact that they contain so much water - or, in the case of fibrous foods, hold water in the body longer than other foods. Dealing with cholesterol is a matter of staying properly hydrated.
-
Yes. Although I eat fatty foods sometimes I also eat fruit and vegetables. As I am aware fruit and vegetables are better for health I do like to prioritise but my health is average.
-
Its not a 'priority'. I eat fruit, but not 'a lot' because they are usually kinda high in sugar/carbs and I have diabetes. Veggies are great when they are not too high in sugar/carbs as well. Peas, corn and potatoes are high in carbs, so only one serving of them per meal. I prefer fruit and veggies to meat. And try not to eat too much bread either, and when I do I try to choose whole grains.
-
I'll get tired of eating them every day. 2-3 times a week is enough for me.
-
I'm on weight watchers and I eat some every day.
