  • safe, maybe... But I would strongly advice to turn it off when you go to bed or leave it for more than an hour or so. think of expensive it is.
  • I think it's okay to leave your computer on but not your monitor. But not during really hot weather as it could get too hot and not have a cooldown.
  • If you're getting loads of pop-ups, your firewall and security settings are probably too long. Most anti-virus software have settings to block pop-ups too. Personally, I err on the side of safety. If I'm not online, I shut my pc down. No need to leave the door open for potential viruses.
  • My husband said it is actually better for the PC to leave it running but, set it to go into power-saving mode after so much time idle and turn off the monitor.
  • You need a pop-up blocker.
  • I leave it on all the time.
