Many times, but I was just really tired. =]
-
Sort of :-|
-
Yeah, im so upset..
-
Maybe, if I was sick, but you should try anyway. It doesn't take much, and makes you feel a great deal better. :)
-
yeah
-
To smile with feeling yes. When you are about to loose your boyfriend!
-
Yep. When I came out of surgery. I was happy to be awake and to see my family but I couldn't smile at them because I was too weak.
-
No. I always try to force a smile. But of course any person would notice that it's just a phoney one.
-
Once. I was in the hospital for pneumonia and sepsis. I was hours away from dying and couldn't muster smile for anything. I had absolutely no energy; not even enough to keep my eyes open. Once I was on the road to recovery, though, I felt better when I smiled. So I tried to smile for anyone who came to see me, including the nurse.
-
when I was in the hospital and they thought I was dying...I didn't have the strength to even think about anything,..
-
I still don't. In public that is.
-
Sometimes. A little less than usual here lately though.
-
Yes, at my brother's wedding to that Woman! Her very presence left me weak and ill.
-
Too depressed, but not too weak.
-
Yes.
-
Yes. I've just come out of such a recent happening that made me so weak to smile.
-
Yes, after I got 6 teeth pulled last month.I really didn't feel like smileing.I got 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled and 2 baby teeth.
-
yeah. it happens from time to time. it's not nice.
-
It has happened to me
-
of course when my best friend died i didnt smile for almost a month and a half. It just needs time. you cant be happy all the time.
-
Yes but I don't think it has to do with depression. I've really just been too tired. After all, I have a habit of running myself dry. But for the past 2 to 3 years, I've had thyroid problems.
-
Only too weak when I have been deathly ill or when I had mono....but I was always accused of the one that did not smile because I was mad when I was growing up. It wasn't that....just did not want to. But I do now all the time!
-
Not too weak, just too sad to smile sometimes.
-
I work as a grocery checker. It's in my nature to smile (I think to coerce others into being nice to me), but after 7 hours or so, I can't do it anymore.
-
When I don't like the person, I feel like my mouth won't move to smile. Alas..
-
yes, sometimes
-
yes. I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
-
every time i smile, it feels so wrong, i barely can keep up the smile for a second. My face starts to twitch in a odd manner if i smile. Only on rare occasions it feels good. And It makes me only more sad to see others smile, because i think what makes them do that, how can they, and i liked to smile relaxed, free as well. Wonder how it feels like.
-
are you like me? It's not really necesarily physical phatigue but emotional.
-
ya. i think.
-
Yup. Emotional tiredness. I can't explain it but you've made me ask myself why I can't smile.
-
Yeah, somedays I just don't feel well:(
-
I think so, but usually I can get a twinkle out of my eye.
-
Each time I'm left lying in the middle of the street, bleeding, maybe with a broken limb.
-
yes when someone dies and his/her 3 year old baby smiles after seeing you
-
hello, yes,right now.
-
Yes. But only a few times last year.
-
smiling usually makes me feel stronger. i know that sounds weird, but it does.
-
Yes, after my car accident and after trying for the MEPS for the USAF
-
yes. Right now i am too exhausted to smile> I have barely eaten a bite and can't sleep. It feels like i close my eyes and then I'm wide awake less then an hour later. I'm waiting on my mother right now to call me when she gets out of work to bring me to the hospital for help.
-
Yeah I used to feel like that all of the time. Even now that I am much happier, I am afraid to smile at times because I don't want people to think I am on drugs or crazy for smiling too much. This happens especially at work, and with my parents.
-
Sure, after my best friend died(Dog)I was un-consolable for over a year,I never smiled,I was a basket case,it took a very long time to get my meds to help me recover.
-

-
not just few times...climbed many hills and ALONE...no drugs and no people...always talked myself out...especially when i had no REASON to be depressed and many REASONS not to be... MLK...quote, " I have been to the mountain top, looked over into the Promised Land"...as Moses did...:)
-

-
