Me. I don't drink because I don't wanna throw up afterwards. My alcohol tolerance isn't that high. I also don't like the taste of alcohol. Happy new year to you too!

I did not drink on New Years Eve because I no longer drink and my b/f has 10 years sober as do all his friends. The party I went to no one drank....we toasted with cider. Cheers. I stayed up until 5:00AM on Red Bull and laughs. It was a great night and I am glad that I can remember it all...

I don't drink because I get obnoxious when I am drunk and I don't want to set that kind of example for my son. He sees enough drinking without my adding to it.

Over 21, didn't drink. Stopped a few years ago, and am glad I did. Drank half a beer last year and almost passed out, LOL. Happy New Year to you, too.

Over 21..didn't drink. Never occurred to me to do so. I will have a drink occasionally (maybe once or twice a year) but for the most part, I had just as soon not.

I didn't drink because I don't care much for most alcoholic beverages. I only drink on rare occasions, and then only 1 drink.

I didn't drink any alcohol on New Years Eve. I don't drink much as it is, but on New Years I just didn't feel up for it. Any kind of drinking makes me feel hog dumb after awhile. It's a good thing I didn't drink - I wound up helping a young ewe deliver twin lambs just after midnight.

I didn't. My band played a club last night, so I didn't drink, because I tend to lose focus on the songs when I drink. I want to play my best, so I don't indulge.

I had to take care of my sick husband and sick kids. Although, I did have plenty of people knocking back a few for me!!

We have been unsure if my wife was having a miscarraige because we had been out of town and the E room doctors couldn't give us a legitimate answer. We had to wait to see our specialist at home which was new years day really early. My wife couldn't drink anyway and I was more concerned about the baby. No drinky for me. But everything is perfect so I can booze in celebration of that and bowl games.

I didn't drink. I stayed home. I was in bed before midnight. Why? Because my life has taken a turn towards lame. Also, because I'm moving in about 2 weeks and couldn't afford to blow a couple hundred dollars in one night.

I'm 27 and got drunk once in 8th grade and never drank again. I also go to bed on New Years around 10. I guess I'm kinda boring when I look at it that way...

I did not drink on New Years Eve, mostly because I don't drink alcohol to begin with. But I also drove home at 4 in the morning on un-plowed rural roads with a decent snowfall in progress. Not really the ideal situation to be drunk.

Only water and sodas. I was attending our annual New Years Eve Game night. About 40 people showed up to play card games, trivia games, board games, etc. It was great fun.

I didn't drink anything alcoholic. Just coffee and water for me. Why not? Well, I used to tend bar years ago and I got tired of the smell of alcohol - and drunks. I just stopped drinking one day and never looked back.

I didn't feel up to it. My husband was out of town and I was blue. Alcohol and sadness are not a good cocktail. We said Happy New Year long distance, and I went to bed. I was thrilled not to have a hangover like so many do the next morning. I started the year with a brisk walk with my dog. It was great.

I don't see why people have this big "it's new years, lets get drunk" mentality. I'm canadian (legal age is 19) and i got drunk on new years the year i turned legal. I haven't been drunk since i was 22 (i'm 28 now) and in the past 6 years have only had 4 or 5 alcoholic drinks in total (most of that is a small drink from my wife's on occasion to taste a new item on a menu that she ordered - usually fruit-based). I personally see it as a waste of money since you just feel sick and useless the next day, and i'm not a big fan of the "alcohol" taste, so since i'm not getting drunk there's not a point in having "a drink".
